Music is important in our school because it is linked to the cultural and spiritual development of our students.  At St Helena's Catholic Primary School we provide opportunities for this cultural and spiritual development through participation.  Participation requires understanding, concentration and commitment and these qualities lead to an appreciation of Music and are valuable life-long skills.  Our goal is to provide a range of musical activities for our students.  Whilst doing this we work towards achieving the highest possible standards.

Students learn the fundamentals of music through play, drama, listening, theory, composition and performance.
