Building Names
The names of the buildings have been chosen to reflect the life, work and search for the true cross that St Helena undertook.
Pilgrimage House (Administration)
Named in recognition that St Helena as the first to undertake a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in her quest for the true cross.
Santa Croce Resource Centre
Named because St Helena established the Church of the Holy Cross. Santa Croce means Holy Cross.
Bethpage Early Learning Centre
Named after the village adjacent to the Mount of Olives where Jesus prayed prior to his arrest and crucifixion and where St Helena visited in her search.
Bethany House
Named after the village where Jesus started his ride on a donkey into Jerusalem as celebrated on Palm Sunday.
Via Dolorosa House
Named after the route that Jesus took between his condemnation by Pilate and his crucifixion and burial.
Paternoster House
Named because St Helena founded the Paternoster Church during her search for the true cross to commemorate the Ascension of Jesus. Paternoster means Our Father.
Chi-Rho House (Undercover Area)
Chi-Rho symbol of Christ arranged as a monogram composed of the first two letters of His name in Greek are X and P. The two are usually written with the P superimposed over the X.
